At Binata Millinery, we believe a hat should feel as personal and powerful as the story behind it. Whether you're seeking a sculptural showpiece, a timeless heirloom, or a hat for a special moment, we welcome custom commissions that honor individuality, heritage, and craftsmanship.
The Process
Each custom order begins with a conversation. We’ll discuss your inspiration, event details, color palette, materials, and silhouette preferences. From there, we’ll present a design sketch or concept direction, along with material samples if needed. Once the design is confirmed, production begins in our New York studio or with our artisan partners in the Philippines.
Customs typically take 3–6 weeks, but more intricate or labor-intensive pieces may require additional time. Rush options are available upon request.
Investment
Custom pieces start at $450, with final pricing based on materials, labor, and design intricacy. For fully bespoke headpieces or couture projects (such as bridal, red carpet, or editorial work), pricing ranges between $800–$2,500+.
A 50% deposit is required to begin, with the balance due upon completion.
Collaborations & Editorial
We are open to select collaborations with stylists, designers, and creatives for fashion shows, campaigns, or special events. Please email us with your request and production timeline.
